WWI draft registration describes all three young men as "tall." Arthur was of medium build with brown eyes and dark hair. Alfred had grey eyes and black hair. George had blue eyes and dark hair. Which one do you think was Arthur?

According to the hand written note on the back of this snapshot, Arthur Trout was standing outside his summer cottage at Tower Lakes, Illinois. [taken in 1934] This photo of Leslie was probably taken about 1906 when he was 3 or 4. Though today a picture of a little boy wearing a dress with a bow in his hair strikes us as odd, or even comical, at the time this photograph was taken it was a fairly common occurrence.

 Arthur Harry Trout, youngest child of Arthur M and Lillian (Brown) Trout, was born 27 mo. after Sylvia - Is this him? Or Sylvia? Or Leslie?
